After developing a passion for horses, competition and care through the Pony Club, I went on to study for my BHS exams gaining the BHSAI and BHS Int SM qualifications. Following this, I then went on to study further gaining a BSc (Hons) in Equine Science from Writtle Agricultural College in 1998.
I have also continued to train and ride competitively, competing to Advanced Medium level dressage and novice level Horse Trials.
In recent years, due to my own horses' injuries and development for competition, I have developed a keen interest in complimentary massage therapy. I have pursued this to become a qualified massage therapist through The College of Animal Physiotherapy (TCAP). As a result I am a member of IAAT and studying for my diploma in Animal Physiotherapy.
Further to this I have an interest in acupuncture and acupressure, and I look to bring the benefits of acupressure to my massage technique.
I am a firm believer in "Hands On" therapies so this is always where I start with any horse. I may then use other therapies to supplement your horse's treatment as required.
